Todos los nominados a los Satellite Awards 2026

La International Press Academy (IPA) dio a conocer las nominaciones para la 30ª edición anual de los Satellite Awards, que reconocen lo más destacado del cine y la televisión a nivel internacional. La ceremonia marca el Pearl Anniversary, los 30 años ininterrumpidos de estos premios otorgados por la prensa especializada.

En el rubro cine, Pecadores, dirigida por Ryan Coogler, encabeza la lista con 14 nominaciones, incluida Mejor Película Dramática. En ese mismo apartado también fueron destacadas Avatar: Fire and Ash, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Una batalla tras otra, Sentimental Value y Train Dreams, configurando un panorama donde conviven grandes producciones, cine de autor y propuestas de recorrido festivalero.

Dentro de la categoría Mejor Película de Comedia o Musical, Marty Supreme (A24) obtuvo siete nominaciones, entre ellas la principal del rubro, y competirá con Bugonia, Father Mother Sister Brother, Nouvelle Vague, Novocaine y Sorry, Baby. A su vez, Sentimental Value integra un grupo reducido de títulos al lograr nominaciones tanto como mejor película nacional como internacional, un reconocimiento poco frecuente dentro del certamen.

Otro de los títulos con fuerte presencia es Wicked: For Good, que acumuló ocho nominaciones, incluidas dos en categorías actorales. El listado general también destaca interpretaciones de figuras con trayectoria previa en los premios Oscar y Emmy, tanto en cine como en televisión. En el plano autoral, Chloé Zhao se convierte en la única mujer nominada en las categorías de Dirección y Guion Adaptado dentro del apartado cinematográfico.

En televisión, las producciones The White Lotus y Adolescence lideran las nominaciones y se posicionan como los títulos más visibles del año, en competencia con otras series que consolidaron su impacto narrativo y cultural en la pantalla chica.

La International Press Academy selecciona a los nominados de los Satellite Awards a partir de 35 categorías —23 de cine y 12 de televisión—, evaluando producciones nacionales e internacionales. Las nominaciones surgen de proyecciones anticipadas en festivales de referencia como Cannes, Berlín, Venecia, Sundance, Toronto, Tribeca y BAFTA, además del visionado de copias enviadas directamente a periodistas miembros o mediante enlaces oficiales habilitados antes de la fecha límite.
