Todos los nominados a los Asian Film Awards 2025

Los Premios de Cine Asiático 2025, el máximo reconocimiento cinematográfico de la región, han revelado su lista de nominados, destacando un abanico de producciones de países como Corea del Sur, Hong Kong, India y Japón. Este año, la película de terror surcoreana Exhuma, dirigida por Jang Jae-hyun, lidera con 11 nominaciones, consolidándose como el gran contendiente de la gala.

Con una narrativa que mezcla tradiciones de feng shui y chamanismo, el thriller sobrenatural Exhuma no solo fue un éxito de taquilla en Corea del Sur, sino que también conquistó a la crítica. Entre sus nominaciones más destacadas figuran Mejor Película, Mejor Dirección, y actuaciones sobresalientes de Choi Min-sik y Kim Go-eun, quienes compiten en las categorías de Mejor Actor y Mejor Actriz, respectivamente.

El cine hongkonés también brilla con fuerza. Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In, un épico drama de acción dirigido por Soi Cheang, obtuvo nueve nominaciones. Inspirada en la novela City of Darkness, la película transporta a los espectadores a la mítica Ciudad Amurallada de Kowloon, con una historia que explora temas de hermandad y resiliencia.

Desde India, la película All We Imagine as Light, dirigida por Payal Kapadia, recibió seis nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película y Mejor Dirección. Por su parte, el drama japonés Teki Cometh, de Yoshida Daihachi, también alcanzó seis menciones gracias a su exploración poética de la soledad y una destacada cinematografía monocromática.

La gala de los Asian Film Awards tendrá lugar en el Centro Xiqu del Distrito Cultural de West Kowloon, en Hong Kong, el próximo 16 de marzo. Este año, contará con la presencia de Sammo Hung como presidente del jurado, un ícono del cine de artes marciales. Además, actores destacados como Dean Fujioka, Aokbab Chutimon y Austin Lin participarán como embajadores.

Con 30 películas nominadas en 16 categorías, los Premios de Cine Asiático consolidan su papel como el evento más prestigioso de la región, reforzando la cooperación entre los festivales de cine de Busan, Tokio y Hong Kong.
