Dune: Part Two encabezó la lista general de nominaciones con 14, incluyendo Mejor Película de Ciencia Ficción y nominaciones actorales para Timothée Chalamet y Zendaya, entre otros. Le siguió Beetlejuice Beetlejuice con 13 nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película de Fantasía. Warner Bros fue el estudio más destacado, acumulando un total de 35 nominaciones. Por su parte, Deadpool & Wolverine recibió 10 nominaciones.

En el ámbito televisivo, la adaptación del videojuego Fallout lideró con cinco nominaciones: Mejor Serie de Televisión de Ciencia Ficción, Mejor Actor en Televisión (Walton Goggins), Mejor Actriz en Televisión (Ella Purnell) y Mejor Estrella Invitada en Televisión (Kyle MacLachlan). Amazon MGM lideró entre los estudios con 17 nominaciones televisivas, mientras que Disney quedó en segundo lugar con 11.

Organizados por la Academia de Ciencia Ficción, Fantasía y Películas de Terror, los ganadores se anunciarán el 2 de febrero durante una ceremonia en el Hilton Universal City. Los productores han anunciado que el show de 2025 estará dedicado al fallecido productor Jon Landau. Los Premios Saturn serán transmitidos en vivo por ElectricNow y The Roku Channel.
