Todos los nominados a los Writers Guild Awards 2026

Los Writers Guild Awards 2026 ya tienen lista de nominados y el anuncio vuelve a funcionar como un termómetro preciso del tramo central de la temporada de premios. Títulos como Pecadores, Marty Supreme, Una batalla tras otra y Hamnet aparecen entre los destacados en las categorías de guion original y guion adaptado, consolidando su presencia en el circuito de reconocimientos de la industria.

En guion original, los nominados son Black Bag, If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, Marty Supreme, Pecadores y Weapons. En guion adaptado, la lista incluye Bugonia, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Una batalla tras otra y Train Dreams.

A diferencia de los Academy Awards, la categoría de guion original del gremio presenta variaciones respecto a la selección de la Academia, aunque Marty Supreme y Pecadores coinciden en ambas instancias. En el caso del guion adaptado, la nómina del sindicato replica exactamente la de los Oscar.

Un dato que no pasa inadvertido es que ninguno de los nominados al WGA en guion documental figura entre los candidatos al Oscar a mejor largometraje documental, una distancia que vuelve a subrayar los criterios diferenciados entre los cuerpos votantes.

En televisión, Pluribus lidera con cuatro nominaciones, seguida por The Pitt y The Studio, ambas con tres. El mapa de nominaciones confirma una fuerte presencia de las plataformas de streaming en las categorías dramáticas y de comedia.

Los ganadores se anunciarán el 8 de marzo, en ceremonias simultáneas en Nueva York y Los Ángeles. La gala de la costa oeste será conducida por Atsuko Okatsuka y se transmitirá en vivo a través del canal de YouTube del Writers Guild Awards West.

Además de los premios competitivos, el gremio reconocerá a Don Reo con el Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award por su trayectoria en la escritura televisiva, mientras que Stephen Colbert recibirá el Walter Bernstein Award, en el tramo final de su ciclo al frente de The Late Show. A pesar de este reconocimiento honorífico, el programa no obtuvo nominaciones en las categorías de comedia o variedades.

Con este anuncio, los Writers Guild Awards 2026 vuelven a posicionarse como una instancia clave para leer las tensiones entre autoría, industria y consenso, en un año donde el guion —más que el espectáculo— ocupa el centro del debate.
