Todos los nominados a los Asian Film Awards 2023

Decision to Leave logró 10 nominaciones, mientras que Drive My Car consiguió 8. La siguen Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 y Return to Seoul con 6 cada una; y Before Now and Then (Indonesia), de Kamila Andini, con 5. RRR logró solo 2 postulaciones.

En la categoría Mejor Película asiática compiten Decision to Leave, de Park Chan-wook;  Drive My Car, de Ryusuke Hamaguchi; Poet, de Darezhan Omirbayev; Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, de Mani Ratnam, y When the Waves Are Gone, del filipino Lav Diaz.

Mientras que en el rubro dirección compiten Park Chan-wook, Ryusuke Hamaguchi, Darezhan Omirbayev, Kore-eda Hirokazu por Broker, y Davy Chou por Return to Seoul.

En cuanto a la cantidad de nominaciones por países Corea del Sur y Japón lograron 17  cada uno; China 9; India logró 8 e Indonesia se quedó con 7. 

La ceremonia de la 16 edición se realizará el próximo 12 de marzo en el Hong Kong Palace Museum.
